Well... I might as well begin with me..I own the place. I don't get to lead as many tours as the early years when I had a partner but I still try to guide a couple of tours each week. I do ten to lead most of the Windrider Sailing Tours which are a blast but kayaking remains my favorite activity. Historically I began kayaking as a whitewater paddler about 1977 during the early exploritory years on our local northshore whitewater. I moved to the area in 1980 working construction while dreaming for 12 years about starting a kayak touring business on the northshore which I finally did in 1992. I've seen a lot of changes in kayaking and have to admit I miss the earlier days. Still.. I do enjoy my business and have met a lot of great people through the years, both customers and staff.
